[Imc-wales] uk network meeting in Wales?

hi all

i agree with ana that a gathering somewhere in wales could be a v
good thing for us as a new collective. we'd all get a better
understanding of how indymeida currently operates and it could push
us forward as a collective.

an important issue we'd need to think about is the fact that as a
collective we're spread out over a wide geographical area, which
would probably mean that the organisation would fall to groups(s) in
one of the areas (north, mid, south) where members of the collective
live.

how do ppl in south wales feel about hosting the gathering? we could
do it in the pad (although its small) and from informal chats ive had
with others in the area we might be in a position to house between 15-
20 (maybe more?). pad has no internet access at the present, but im
sure some of those who'd come would make it there mission to sort
this out, so that would be a bonus.

is there enough energy, given other commitment (we've all got loads,
i know) in south wales for this? if not cardiff, where? suggestions?
i do think that it shouldn't be in london, again, again...

cheers
xx hywel
