hey all,
i talked to john and we more or less agreed that 300 Dollars is just
too much for a venue and we thought we could just do a cake shop
screening.
now, when i walked into town this morning i walked into the thistle
hall office to find out if they'd be available and how much i'd cost.
the only night availoable is Friday, 8th July, upstairs. they'll
charge us 15 Dollars per hour plus GST. i penciled it in for now. how
do you people feel about doing a screening there?
so, it'd be 55 Dollars rent plus 20 Dollars (maybe 10?) for the
projector is 75 Dollars.
if we charged 5 Dollars and get 40 people we'd make 125 Dollars profit
and could give that to the cake shop for usage of the indymedia
center...
or are people more keen to book the pioneer lounge at the cake shop
for a film screening?
