Windymedia Meeting - 13/12/2006

Present - Smush, Kieran, Ken, Asher, Strypey, Sebastiaan

MINUTES

Email lists - Now there are two, imc-wellington and imc-wellington-organise.
Organise list is for nitty gritty of organising activities. Both are open to
public joining & viewing archives

Convergence - 3/4 February. Asher, Ken, Smush, Strypey, Sebastiaan. Kieran
not. Venue confirmed. Windy can put money towards costs, $100 at least.

Tonga film - Fiver is collabarating with Smush to make a doco, approx 30
mins. If anyone wants to help with transcribing, editing or anything else,
email smushcapitalism at gmail.com. Timeframe - finish by late January

Tonga feedback - All was easy in terms of reporting from Tonga. Yay.

W(((i)))ndy - Double issue for end of year, to be made @ Oblong in Left Bank
on Wednesday 21st at 7pm - the more people the merrier.

Film Night - February/March? Kieran to liase with Film Archive. Films: Tuhoe
film, Iraq For Sale, Adventures Of The Pink Caddilac

IMC Pasifika - Smush and others working on networking with a view to
starting a Pasifika IMC. There is a list people can join to help. Callouts
need to be translated etc.

IMC Alternatives - New IMC being formed - about positive alternatives to
current society being worked on around the globe - ie, a IMC with only good
news.

Climate IMC - exists at http://www.climateimc.org. Needs more people to help
out before it finishes the official affiliation process. If interested,
email ashergoldman at gmail.com

IMC Finance - Global finance list seems to be working better now. No new
proposals.

Windy Finances - 500 - 600 in account. Doing fine.
