[imc-wellington] Windymedia minutes - Wed. 11.1.06

Hi all,

Looks good, sorry I couldn't make the meeting (I'm in Chch at the moment).
I'll be back in Welly (although VERY busy with Happy Valley stuff) from 22nd
Jan - 2nd Feb, then I'm off to Waitangi, then I'll be back in Welly for a
day or two before I come back down south to Happy Valley until early-mid
March. So, I'll be back in Welly properly (and active again) around the 10th
of March or so.

Couple of quick questions re: the minutes.

"11. Pub meeting with Alastair Thompson from Scoop to discuss a link-up
between
Scoop, Aotearoa Indymedia and Wikipedia News. Agreed."

Has there been a date set for this yet? What sort of timeframe are we
looking at? I'd really like to attend, so if possible to have it between
25th Jan and 2nd Feb that'd be fantastic. Not the biggest deal if that
timeframe doesn't work though.

re: badges - no, I'm an idiot and completely forgot. I asked Urs to send
them down with Tim, but he forgot too. Woops! I've told the Demozone (Chch)
and Black Star Books (Dunedin) crews that they're coming though - my
suggestion is that I take them down when I come back this way post Waitangi
weekend. Does that sound good? Will save us money on postage...

re: Windy PDF's - whats the problem? I seem to remember something about the
software being used to create Windy not being able to export to PDF - is
that it? If so, I should be able to sort something once I'm back. If thats
not the problem, can someone please clarify?

p.s: Chch is looking likely to go through the process for becoming a local
Indymedia collective soon - I've talked to people about it and they seem
very keen. Choice! I'm going down to Dunedin tomorrow, will see whats
happening down there too and let you know.
