*Windymedia meeting - 14th Feb '07*

 Val's presence was acknowledged. She was given half a welcome as she's
thinking about joining the collective.

 Moved from Dunedin to Welly. Yay! Does she want to join the Welly list

 *Convergence Debrief*


 People had mixed feeling about various parts of the convergence. Numbers of
people attending was good. Tech workshop, video + photography were
especially liked. Asher wishes we'd discussed editorial policy/mission
statement. Venue wasn't great – swipe card etc. Val felt that we could've
gone outside people who'd been involved in the past when talking about
trying to restart Chch/Dunedin collectives. Film night was really good.


 Thanks to Omar and Strypey for all their work to organise it.


 Next conference to be in Wellington early '08.


 *Finances*


 Paid $20 subsidy to everyone that went to the convergence from Welly –
total $140. Still around $500 in bank account. Might be $501.


 *W(((i)))ndy*


 Asher to try to find copy of Freehand to send to AK Indy collective

NDU can print for very cheap. We'll keep printing down here for now til we
know that works well.


 *W(((i)))ndy putting together 6pm onwards, Wednesday 21st. We'll try for 8
A5 pages (2 folded A4s, front and back)*


 *Film Night*


 Choice of dates – 23/24 March, 30/31 March, 20/21 April, 11/12 May, 18/19
May.

Asher's Te Papa '05 film (ready soon?)


 23/24 March to be booked for Iraq For Sale, Matt D's Hiroshima Day film?

20/21 April to be booked - Hopefully website relaunch, i the film and maybe
Tonga. Would be awesome to also get small room and play stuff on loop all
weekend? Take over the whole space. Awesome.

18/19 May to be booked – films to be decided on later, maybe Czech Dream?


 Smush to contact Matt D about getting copy of his Hiroshima Day film


 *Boot Camp*


 Asher emailed Oblong. Suggestion to take it to Infoshop meeting as it
affects Freedom Shop as well. Asher to do that.


 10-11th March intense geekery weekend.


 *Local Outreach*


 Using W(((i)))ndy?

Could use the website relaunch weekend as a basis for outreach?

Could send groups an A4 poster for film weekend, info about Indymedia,
sample W(((i)))ndys.

Possibility of free postage.
