Minutes of Wellington Indymedia collective meeting held on Wednesday 12
November 2008 at Oblong Internet Cafe
Meeting commenced 7.10 pm
Present: Urs, Ken

1. Finances. We have $104 after paying $30 for printing the October
W((i))ndy and $4 for film flyers.
We are due $149 from NZ Film Archive as our share of box office receipts
last month.

2. Next issue of W((i))ndy. Wednesday 26 November at Oblong, 7 pm. To be
confirmed by email.

3. NZ Film Archive screenings last month.
Tuhoe was shown on 17 October. 25 attended. Fallujah & Iraq for Sale were
shown on 24&25 October and 7 and 16 attended. Receipts: see (1) above.

4. AIM editors. There are 33 people on the imc-aotearoa-ed email list which
needs pruning, maybe to active editors only. Some eds have been inactive
for a while and have asked to have their accounts closed. Ken has been
given an editorial account and shown how to vote for features etc.

5. Joint publication with Oct 15 Solidarity and Magnetic Fridge Diary.
Still on hold.

6. Future film screenings at NZ Film Archive. Ken will contact them about a
February show, as Dec./Jan. likely to be poorly attended.
We could show films from Despatches 03, e.g. New Orleans and Big Easy to
Big Empty, Battle for Basra and Winter Soldier plus some others to make
about 90 minutes.

7. National Indymedia meeting. Had been proposed earlier this year to be
held in Wellington next month, but there was little response to the
call-out. Urs suggested asking Auckland Indymedia to host a national
meeting in the first 6 months of next year. He will email them.
