Minutes of meeting of Wellington Indymedia collective held on Wednesday 8
October 2008 at Oblong internet cafe. Meeting commenced 7.05 pm.

1. Finances. We have $137 after paying $36 for BigNoise dvd 'Dispatches 03'
and printing the last two issues of W((i))ndy ($60).

2. Next issue of W((i))ndy. Meet at Oblong on Wednesday 29 October.

3. Film shows. Tuhoe on Friday 17, 7 pm at Film Archive. DVD has been
dropped off. Smush will try to get a speaker. Ken will put in Capital Times
and circulate email lists. Smush will update flyer from last time.
Iraq for Sale and Fallujah on Friday/Saturday 24/25 October, 7 pm at Film
Archive. Ken will drop off dvds next week, and advertise in Capital Times
and email lists.

4. Joint publication. No further developments. Discuss later.

5. New Indymedia centre working group update. Smush is in this group, which
helps new collectives to become affiliated to Indymedia and recently helped
a new German group to affiliate. They are still setting up a web site. Also
a group in Singapore have applied to become an Indymedia collective.

6. New films. We have bought a copy of 'Dispatches 03' which could be used
for future screenings:

Winter Soldier: Iraq and Afghanistan (30 min)
New Orleans: Man-made disaster (28 min)
Iran: Elections under threat (22 min)
Chevron/Texaco vs. the Rainforest (15 min)
