W((i))ndymedia Meeting 4th February 2009

Present: Jen, Val, Ken, smush

1. Film Nights
- 27/28 February 2009, 7pm
- at the Film Archive
- we are showing 'Big Easy to Big Empty' and 'New Orleans: Man-made
Disaster' of Dispatches 03)
- Ken has sent them all the publicity details
- Ken will go Saturday, Jen and Val on Friday
- Ken will get back issues to Jen and Val
- Ken will do an email for various lists to advertise the film night
- we need to get some more films

2. Merger of W((i))ndy and Magnetic Fridge
- printing can be done at Rebel Press
- Jen's design would be 2 A4 pages double-sided (one page for upcoming
events)
- add Val and Jen to imc-wellington-organise (smush to do)

3. Finances
- we got $149 for the last film show
- we've paid $33 for last W((i))ndy
- grand total of $216!

4. Next W((i))ndy
- 25th February at 7pm at 128 Abel Smith Street

5. Next Meeting
- meetings and W((i))ndy making session will now be the same event and
will be at the end of the month (on either Tuesday or Wednesday - next
one on 25th February). Please check the minutes and reminders to find
out when and where!

6. Conference
- the Indymedia Convergence will take place 1st - 3rd May in Auckland.
