Ok- I am 38. Have been politicised since my teens.
I worked in non-traditional trade and had to fight for maternity rights/
a harassment case/a constructive dismissal case.

Two environmental campaigns.

One child with learning difficulties (all the rights were fought for
over a period of ten years and more, I achieved an 'accomodation', today
for my son to be treated as a'dyslexic' in his state exams)

National womens organiser of a eco-party and regional co-ordinator
( I left)- Marginalisation.

Writer/mother/stonecutter/poet.
Am completely anti-censorship.
Contribute to indy.ie , cos there is nothing else, though I am deeply
unhappy and very upset by the censoriousness of the ed policy and
gender imbalance.
and trying to pull a book together. (badly)

joined indy as a writer in Feb 06- my first post censored straight away!!!!
Have contributed weekly, sometimes daily for eight months-ye all saw
the abuse and hurt of the last few months...
