Want to go to an astonishing media conference on June
23-25?? I had a great time when I went last year. The
Allied Media Conference takes place at Bowling Green
University in Ohio. This is a good chance to meet
people, see choice independent movies, and participate
in building alternative power structures to make
change.

It's a 3 day conference. The first day (friday) is the
"Symposium on Media Literacy", a day of workshops
related to teaching media literacy and using media
effectively in a classroom or community center.
Saturday and Sunday will be filled with workshops on
things like independent media, immigration, community
art projects, and oral history (alixa + naima are on a
panel and there is bowling and live music).

I am really into going and would be excited if others
want to come too. The conference takes place in
Bowling Green, Ohio. Last year I took the bus, but
this year I'd like to make it a road trip. I'd like to
leave Worcester on Wednesday (21st) or Thursday(22nd)
and return on Monday(26th). If yr interested let me
know ASAP! I have room for 4 people, the more people
the more fun and the cheaper.
