MEDIA ADVISORY:

Tax Day Tea Coming to Worcester, MA

"Nationwide Tax Day Tea Party"
Tens of Thousands Prepare to Gather in Their Local Communities in Protest of
Socialism

More than 250 cities in all 50 states Protesting On One Day

Worcester, MA - Plans are underway for Worcester to take part in a
nationwide protest called the Tax Day Tea Party. Worcester will be one of
more than 250 U.S. cities taking part in this gathering of citizens who are
fed up with government spending, over taxation, waste, corruption, and
hypocrisy. Worcester's protest will take place on Wednesday, April 15 from
4 p.m. to 6 p.m. in Lincoln Square. Interested citizens can get involved by
emailing worcesterteaparty at charter.net or through the Worcester Tea Party
Facebook page.

The Tax Day Tea Parties hosted by the DontGo Movement, TCOT, and Smart Girl
Politics will occur around the country on April 15. Presently, Michelle
Malkin, Dana Loesch, GOPUSA, and Newt Gingrich are sponsoring the movements,
but all local events, including Worcester's, are run by local volunteers.

The Tax Day Tea Parties were a result of CNBC's Rick Santelli's call to
arms, with the first batch occurring on February 27th. Over 30,000
Americans showed up in over 20 states across the country. Those were
basically "spontaneous", last minute efforts.organized in literally days.
The April 15th Tea Parties are expected to attract tens of thousands of
people in over 250 cities and 50 states. It will be the largest show of
opposition to the uncontrolled growth of government yet.

Kenneth Mandile of Webster is the local organizer of the Worcester Tax Day
Tea Party. Mr. Mandile is a small business owner who is fed up with
irresponsible spending in Washington. "A reasonable stimulus would have
gotten support from small business, but the bill that Congress passed last
month is an example of greed and irresponsibility", Mr. Mandile said. "I'm
worried about the debt we're leaving our children", he said. "I'm also
angry at the hypocrisy of leaders who cheat on their taxes and then want to
raise everyone else's taxes without any understanding of the damage that
these tax increases have on our families. It's time for a Americans to
stand up and defend their freedom", Mr. Mandile said.

Americans are crossing the political divide, and joining together by the
tens of thousands, to protest the fact that government intrusion doesn't
work. "A la the 1773 Boston Tea Party, we're fed up with the taxation and
the government takeover brought on with the Stimulus Bill and the numerous
other bailouts. There's only one proven way to create jobs and that is by
cutting income taxes and wasteful spending" said Eric Odom, Director of the
DontGo Movement.

The Obama Stimulus Plan will be borrowing an unprecedented amount of money.
It is the largest giveaway in American history. Even the Congressional
Budget Office says that the Stimulus Bill will create few jobs in 2009 and
2010, but will instead cause dangerously high levels of inflation as the
Federal Government lets the Treasury printing presses run indiscriminately.

Tax Day Tea Parties are also planned for Boston, Providence, Hartford, CT,
New Haven, CT, Norwich, CT, Montpelier, VT, Rutland, VT, Manchester, NH, and
Augusta, ME.

Tea Party Communications Director Juliana Johnson states, "We will be heard.
The politicians have not been listening to us and we are fed up. If a Tea
Party is what they need in order to listen to us, then a Tea Party is what
they will get."
