Apparently people liked the idea, but just forgot or didn't know how to
add an irc oper. I prepared the /etc/ircdblahblah.conf file. I'm not an
irc oper, so someone else should put in the hashed password from
anarcat, rehash the configfile. (do this with your favorite ircclient,
identify yourself as an oper and /rehash ).

I personally would like to suggest anarcat to register his/her nickname
at nickserv (altough not *needed*, i think it can be practical.). Then
also identify yourself as an oper after you've send your hashed password
to someone who put it into the configfile. And type /msg operserver rehash.

Great! Maybe it's an appropriate idea to also give you access to the
server itself? I don't think i'm part of the ircd-working group, so I
just suggest it.

For those who wonder: I have sudo on che because Alster granted me that
to fix the webinterface, which I did. Maybe it's a good idea to add me
also to as an oper?
Take care,
