ho aggiunto. Questo di seguito potrebbe essere il nuovo testo della email da
mandare aindy sydney. Qualcuno corregga e mandi (a

Cari amici di Indymedia Sydney
Vi scriviamo solo per dirvi che siamo rimasti "sorpresi" leggendo la feature
che avete riprodotto il 31 dicembre sulla vostra homepage.
E' stato uno schock per noi vedere pubblicato come feature un testo che
raccoglie in poche righe tutto il pensiero neonazista,
cristiano-fondamentalista e fortemente conservatore.
Non possiamo credere che un media che si considera "alternativo" voglia
affermare che eutanasia, guerra, aborto e pena capitale siano parti della
"stessa cultura della violenza".
Questa non è informazione alternativa. E' solo una mistificazione.
Pensiamo che i movimenti pro-scelta, pro-aborto e pro-RU486 abbiano solide
basi, come ogni movimento che promuove libertà e nuovi diritti. D'altra
parte pensiamo che un media alternativo come Indymedia possa dare un forte
contributo all'informazione su queste questioni, come sugli interessi
industriali che si celano dietro alcuni esponenti della cultura pro-scelta.
Detto questo, speriamo che Indymedia Sydney cancelli la feature così com'è
ora.
Infine siamo interessati a capire quale sia il vostro process di
pubblicazione delle feature, poiché ci sembra di capire che abbiate una
modalità diversa (interessante per alcuni aspetti) dalla nostra (vd. post
che diventano feature).

We write to you just to say we were "surprised" reading the feature you
produced in your homepage the last 31st of december.
It was really shocking for us to see published as a feature a text that
summarizes in a few rows all the neonazi, christian and heavy-conservative
thinking.
We can't believe a media that consider itself as "alternative" would adfirm
that euthanasia, war, abortion and capital punshment are parts of the same
"culture of violence".
That is not alternative information. That is just disinformation.
We think that pro-choice, pro-abortion and pro-RU485 movements have a solid
base, as every movement that promotes freedom and new rights. On the other
hand we think that an alternative media, as Indymedia, could give its
contribute to inform people about these questions and about the industrial
interests hidden behind some of pro-choice advocates.
All that said, we hope that Indymedia Sydney would delete that feature the
way it is now.
In the end, we are interested in what process you use to publish the
features, as we understood that is a different way (quite interesting, in
some aspects) from us (i.e. articles that become features).
