Hi all,

I had thought that despite the problems in Rome, an indymedia could happen
at Forte Prenestino and for a time i was told one was going to happen.

Sadly, late last night i got notification that we had lost Forte
Prenestino as a venue for such an assembly. So sorry folks...its not
happening.

I feel very gutted and i am returning to london very low and depressed.
This news is also causing me to leave indymedia forever now.

The reasons for this change are not clear but i am being told to cancel
all arrangements. As a Diaz victim, i am cancelling all interviews
arranged and taking no further part in the G8 in Italy.

Finally, it does seem now that the call for decentralised actions in
european cities has been confirmed by my contacts in Rome now....so don't
go to Rome...there is little being organised to accomodate internationals.

If you are indymedia and you still wish to go to the G8, contact
italy.indymedia.org <http://italy.indymedia.org> yourself.

Italy indymedia will in due course make an announcement on hoow it will
cover the G8 and i wish my brothers goog luck.
