hi,
i do not know mailman unless as a normal admin... but i can help with
content, so here is my proposal for friendly text to send to frustrated
senders:
===================================
dear,
the list to which you are writing has been supressed due to lack of use.
if your query has to do with the middle column of the page
www.indymedia.org, please email www-features at lists.indymedia.org
indicating the title of the article you want to talk about.
If it is not, could you please note the region of the world to which it
belongs? Then look up in
http://lists.indymedia.org and do a search (menu - edit - search in most
bowsers) for that region and write to the appropriate list.
If all this fails, you can email imc-process at lists.indymedia.org, where
in theory there is a liaison off all indymedias, and they will be able
to answer your mail.
thanks for your intrerst!
=========================================
the wording and the alternative lists are only proposals, of course; and
once every one agrees i can translate it into spanish.
