i suggest to go the easy way with alias change (#2) first, but prepare a
patch for mailman to support a MAILMAN_SITE_CONTACT or MAILMAN_SITE_SUPPORT
variable and suggest it to upstream.

Once it is accepted upstream we no longer have to bear with it.

By the way, are you proposing IMC mailman patches to mailman upstream
normally, or do you keep them private?

this is the way i would go for now as well.

this is the way how it should be dealt with in the long term.
