[Listwork] PROPOSAL: mailing list server payments

In July of 2007, I requested the disbursal[0] of the funds that were
allocated[1] for the payment of the hosting of the Indymedia mailing
list server called sarai. This money covered the hosting costs for this
server up through June of 2007. At that time I noted that the original
proposal covered only the past and a new proposal needed to be made to
for the new costs.

I would like to make a funding proposal that IMC pay for the the amount
between July 2007 and July 2008 ($600 @ $50/mo) and then begin a regular
yearly payment schedule of payment in advance for a year of hosting at
the same rate. This would mean a disbursement to Riseup now for $1200,
and then a scheduled disbursement for $600 in July 2009. We can adjust
the time to match any adjustment in the cost of the hosting, if we are
able to reduce the rate over the year.

Why are we so behind on these requests for money? Well, we didn't get
the July 2007 disbursement until the end of February of 2008. But its
also my fault, Riseup has been floating the costs to host this machine
for almost a year in advance, and after I get enough pressure from the
collective, I come to imc-finance and make a proposal to request that
the past balance be paid.
