Hello. I am part of a group who has been working towards a Korean IMC. Until
now we have been focused mainly on outreach and spreading information about
this project among various activist groups in Korea. We aren¡¯t ready to
fully join the IMC network but we do feel that it is time to get a site up.
We have been working closely with Japan IMC and have links to Manila, Perth
and SF Bay. However, when we looked at the design and functions of the
different software programs we decided not to use Dada, SF Active or
Activismo. We feel that the translation feature in MIR best serves our
purpose¡¦

I have volunteered to function as a tech until the site is up and we can
pull in new members to the collective. I really don¡¯t have any idea what
I¡¯m doing. So basically this is a call for someone to help us out. I know
that we need server space and I believe that a group here will be hosting us
(we¡¯re checking on that now). What do we need to do next?

If you want more info about the group and what we have been doing you can
check out our docs page: http://docs.indymedia.org/view/Local/ImcKorea or
just ask.

Thanks and solidarity, nevin
