Russian version was posted at:

A workshop on Belarussian Indymedia was held at BSF on November 6. Main
conclusions of the discussion are: Belarussian initiatives need an IMC,
they are ready to participate in the collective and to publish
materials. It is time to start the site.
We handed out printouts of a Russian translation of the IMCN Principles
of Unity and Membership Criteria:
http://docs.indymedia.org/view/Global/PrinciplesOfUnityRu
http://docs.indymedia.org/view/Global/MembershipCriteriaRu
Activists participating in the discussion requested ability to publish
and categorize analytics and other non-news articles, preparation and
distribution of paper (offline) digest of the site, email notifications,
translation of global articles to local languages and vice versa. It was
discussed whether it is necessary to build up some minimal content
before starting the site.
Questions that remain open:
1. When the site will be up?
2. Procedure for defining contents of the main page and structure of the
site.
There are two opinions on this: either by consensus among IMC collective
members, or by vote of registered site users.
3. Procedure for filtration of articles that contradict with Indymedia
principles.
The question is: is any form of registration or pre-moderation
necessary, or active monitoring of site is going to be enough?
Next meeting is set on November 18th at "No culture without subculture"
festival in Minsk: 12pm-4pm club Dynamic (Peduniversity dorm,
Artilleristov-16).
