Dear all,

My name is Klaikong Vaidhyakarn, I'm working for Thai Fund Foundation ( 
TFF ) / Development Support Consortium ( DSC ) base in Bangkok, Thailand
as ICT team leader.

I have been indymedia audience since after WTO meeting in Seattle and I 
used to do website xuntad.org due the United Nation on Tread and 
Development  meeting in bangkok in 1999 and prachachon.net (prachachon 
mean people) due the Asian Development Bank in Chiang Mai in 2000 for 
made alternative media for present the information of poor people in 
Thailand who got the impact from globalization and development. I'm also 
set the streaming radio server for some community radio in Thailand.

For the IMC , I met some people form oceania at Asia Source in Bangalore 
and I would like to do thailand.indymedia for to be independent media in 
Thailand because the mainstream media in Thailand have been dominated by 
authority and capitalist and for the new government who got many vote 
majority in the house of representative so the independent media is very 
necessary for monitor and criticize the work of government. So the 
suggestion from oceania and all of you, I'm setting up 
thailand.indymedia.org website with our collective team in the end of 
February.
