In these last few days I've been entirely lost in a fever (both literal 
and metaphorical) of organizational and editorial work around the Gaza 
and Lebanon emergencies and I regret that I had not realized earlier 
that Hamilton imc needed help - I feel so grateful for the aid and the 
hands-on solidarity that our imc Hamilton colleagues have been extending 
to our imc projects in the Middle East, and I wish I had registered in 
my (all too weak) brain that there was a need to offer assistance.

I still would like to help, if I can. And I would endorse and support 
any motion to keep the site alive so that it will remain a available as 
a tool for a group that might become re-organized in the future.

I have more thoughts on this I'd like to share, but it will be a few 
days before I'm able to send more.

What other global imc groups are relevant to this development? I'd like 
to send them a copy of this letter.

To John, Andrew and our other colleagues there I wish all the best and - 
please note that I'm speaking on behalf of many readers, friends, 
members and allies of indymedia in the Muddled East when I express this: 
we are indebted to your assistance and to the great work you've done as 
imc members; anything we can do as a network or as individual 
journalist-activists to help enable your imc entity to be rejuvenated 
would give us great pleasure.
