Hi people

As I pointed out previously we have an indymedia collective here.

http://dimc.axxs.org/

The people Cameron Gregg and Stacy Scheff are championing - are not part of our collective and are exposed as liars and home-stalking thugs. It is absurd to propose such people operate an indymedia in direct breach of indymedia (and general) ethics.

So our domain should be returned - something perth and others attempted to do, as we lost our site on the basis of the expelled people's lies. Stacy Scheff as you will recall, broke her own proposal on oceania to remove our domain.

We did not lose afilliation - the expelled people did - something Cameron has difficulty understanding.

The need for new-imc has not been accepted by our collective - nor have we heard any argument that opposes our view. Stacy and Cameron's belief they can decide imc policy and over-ride our collective (and its existence) has yet to be supported rationally.

The bias and autocracy of these two sydney people is in evidence as are their lies.

We have no fear of a genuine and open investigation into this matter and once again we have not been 'disaffiliated' so new-imc is unnecessary (and we'd argue impossible) in relation to our darwin domain.

I am Cameron from Sydney Indymedia. I wish to respond to the email sent
by Mick Lambe to this list regarding Darwin Indymedia.

I have taken part in the resolve list over the past couple of months to
help two groups of people that were once the darwin collective get a
darwin indymedia(s) back online.

Gary Meyerhoff and others have applied to newimc to get a site running
again. I would like to point out that prior to doing this, I sent a
proposal to indymedia collective in the oceania region to ask if they
would block his application at the imc-process level.

You can view this proposal here:
http://lists.indymedia.org/pipermail/resolve/2006-February/0226-2d.html

Since that time there has been no blocks issued from any of the
collectives approached. This indicates to me that indymedia collectives
in the oceania region have no problem with Gary and the people he is
working with setting up a darwin indymedia.

Mick Lambe and the collective he is working with have stated they will
not go through the new-imc process to get an indymedia.org subdomain,
and hence affiliated status.

I would also like to draw your attention to my (extremely angry)
response to Mick on the resolve list to some of the claims in his email
to new-imc (
http://lists.indymedia.org/pipermail/new-imc/2006-March/0317-fl.html ),
you can view my response here:

Thankyou
Cameron Gregg
