In my answer, I will use the terms "you", "yours" as "the collective  
you participate in".

Do not hesitate to ask them here, on the new-imc workgroup list, or if  
you already have a mailing list, ask them on your mailing, then post  
here the link to the archive, anyone will be able to subscribe to your  
list and answer to your questions.

Yes of course, the helper is useful to help you filling the  
presentation documents for the IMCN.
If you are feeling strong enough, and sure that your application is  
good and there is nothing to discuss about, you will certainly reach  
the consensus at the global level and you can proceed to imc-process  
without the acknoledgment of new-imc.
But if your application raises questions, or doubts the discussion  
will fall back to the new-imc mailing list. Conclusion : it is better  
to test it on new-imc if you have doubts on the way your application  
will be recieve.

If there is a consensus in the new-imc group on your application, it  
is *almost* certain that your documents will reach a consensus at the  
global level, because everybody from the IMCN will a priori assume  
that all the problems (if any) have been fixed with the new-imc group.
