I'm resending an email I sent earlier today, but which ended up being
delivered with missing text passages.

Here's a version of the email addresses you listed as broken, reordered
by types of issues, duplicates removed, accompanied by explanations:
> new-imc at indymediaSTOPSPAM.org
> www-features at lists.indymediaSTOPSPAM.org
These email addresses contain the expression 'STOPSPAM', which is meant
to prevent spammers' email address harvesting bots which crawl indymedia
websites from adding legitimate email addresses to their databases. The
idea is that humans will realize that the 'STOPSPAM' text needs to be
removed off the email address before email is sent to this address. For
example, www-features at lists.indymediaSTOPSPAM.org should be manually
rewritten to www-features at lists.indymedia.org before email is sent to
this address.
Nevertheless, the 'new-imc at indymedia.org' email address is outdated (see
below).

This is the same as above, just the anti-spam text here is not
'STOPSPAM' but '[@t]' and it needs to be replaced by '@'. Nevertheless,
these email addresses are outdated (see below).

These email addresses do no longer work. They used to work but have
since been disabled. These email addresses pointed to mailing lists.
Mailing lists are run on the 'lists.indymedia.org' host. As such, emails
to mailing lists should always end in '@lists.indymedia.org', such as
'new-imc at lists.indymedia.org' (mailing list addresses formatted this way
have always been working and continue to do so now). When sending email
to the outdated email addresses such as 'listwork at indymedia.org' you
should an error message such as this:
> <listwork at indymedia.org>:
> 204.13.164.132 does not like recipient.
> Remote host said: 550 5.1.1 <listwork at indymedia.org>: Recipient address rejected: User has moved to listwork at lists.indymedia.org
> Giving up on 204.13.164.132.
This is meant to tell you that the correct email address is actually
'listwork at lists.indymedia.org'. And it is.
> help at indymedia.org
This email address has since been removed as it turned out that nobody
was actually responding to emails sent to this address and people
sending email there never received any replies.
Unfortunately it's not easy to correct the above email addresses as it
is more than difficult to locate outdated information on indymedia and
there is no way we can know where you actually came across these
outdated email addresses. If you still have these locations handy please
send me an email to my email address (do not send a copy to the mailing
list unless anyone else asks for it).

This was not the reason why your emails did not arrive. The reasons were
those given above.
Hope this helps,
