[EN] Yes, in response to xaba's requeste for help [1] in 
imc-communication, I have spent these last ten days or so, off and on, 
researching, paying attention to, Paraguyan affairs (amongst other 
things) from here in the Canary Islands [2]. On ths island I only have a 
(slow, expensive) dial-up internet connection (POTS).

[ES] Pues sí, contestando a la llamada de ayuda de xaba [1] en 
imc-communication, llevo estos últimos diez días, más o menos, 
investigando, fijándome en, asuntos paragyuanos (entre otras cosas) 
desde aquí en las islas canarias [2]. En esta isla sólo dispongo de una 
conexión (lenta, cara) a internet de llamada telefónica (POTS).

[EN] So, I am applying to subscribe (my request should be pending?) to 
new-imc in this context (Paraguay). I can only really handle, more or 
less, these two languages (English-Spanish). I am a member since the 
beginning of the imc-canarias collective, liaison for the same 
(process), and an administrator of imc-communication. Although I have 
read through new-imc archives, I am essentially here to learn how these 
things are done.

[ES] Así que, solicito suscribirme a new-imc (mi solicitud debe estar 
pendiente?) en ese contexto (Paraguay). Sólo domino, más o menos, estas 
dos lenguas (Inglés-Castellano). Soy miembro desde el principio del 
colectivo de imc-canarias, enlace para el mismo (process), y unx 
administradorx de imc-communication. Aunque he repasado los archivos de 
new-imc, me presento esencialmente para aprender como se hace esto.

[EN] As I say, I have been investigating, starting with the information 
supplied by xaba and boud [3]. I see no problem so far (without having 
made contact, they seem to be very representative people, in fact). I 
guess we would like to see the following expressed by the potential 
Paraguayan collective:

1. Documentation of their face-to-face meetings;

2. More information about their contacts with other collectives / social 
movements / representatives - if 'official' contacts may be too 
dangerous, then perhaps at least individual (albeit anonymous) ones?;

3. Work done on their local version of Indymedia principles, objectives, 
editorial policy, etc.;

4. Technical field: Setting up the site.

[ES] Como digo. He estado investigando, empezando con información 
suministrada por xaba y boud [3]. Hasta ahora, no veo ningún problema 
(sin haber entrado en contacto, parece ser gente muy representativa, de 
hecho). Imagino que nos gustaría ver expresarse, el potencial colectivo 
paraguayo, de la siguiente manera:

1. Documentar sus reuniones cara-a-cara;

2. Más información en relación con sus relaciones con otros colectivos / 
movimientos sociales / representativxs - si los contactos 'oficiales' 
pueden resultar demasiado peligrosos, entonces ¿tal vez contactos 
individuales (aunque anónimos)?

3. Elaboración de la versión local de los principios, objetivos, 
política editorial etc.;

4. En el campo de lo técnico: montar el sitio.

[EN] As I've said, I think: I'm here to help and to learn. I'm not sure 
why xaba thinks (s)he needs help. Everything looks fine so far. Since I 
observed that libertinus also offered assistance [4], I CC libertinus also.

[ES] Como he dicho, creo: estoy para ayudar y para aprender. No nengo 
claro porque pide ayuda xaba. Todo me parece en orden haata ahora. 
Puesto que he observado que ofreció ayuda libertinus [4], hago cópia a 
libertinus.
