It seems to me that our automatic message to new subscribers does not
get sent by mailman to the new subscribers. i sent a bug report to 
listwork on the sos system:

i suggest that until the bug gets fixed, we use this copy of the welcome
message:
https://docs.indymedia.org/view/Global/NewImcPleaseGiveIntro

and use the "reject" option for new subscribers but we cut/paste the
text from NewImcPleaseGiveIntro into the box   "Reason for refusal".

Afterwards, if the person sends a roll call, then we can go to

Membership Management
   Mass Invitations

i think that when we send an "invitation", the person does not need
confirmation from an admin.

Alternatively, if we think the person is more likely to be real than 
a spammer, we can copy/paste the message and send it from our ordinary
email address. Personally, i don't want to send anything to a spammer
from my email address.

Il me semble que notre message automatique aux nouveaux abonné-e-s 
n'est pas envoyé par mailman à ceux-celles-ci. J'ai envoyé un rapport de bug

Je propose qu'en attendant que ce soit corrigé, nous utilisons cette copie
du message

et que nous (les admins) utilisions l'option "Rejeter" pour les nouveaux
abonné-e-s mais que nous copiions/collions le texte de NewImcPleaseGiveIntro
dans la boîte   << Motifs du refus >>.

Après, si cette personne enverra un roll call, nous pourrons aller à

Il me semble que lorsque nous envoyons une « invitation », la personne
n'a pas besoin de confirmation d'un-e admin.

Comme alternatif, si nous pensons que la personne est plus probablement
quelqu'un réel plutôt qu'un spammeur, nous pourrions copier/coller ce
message et l'envoyer de notre compte mél ordinaire.  Personnellement, 
je ne souhaiterais pas envoyer quoique ce soit à un spammeur de mon mél.
