I don't believe it is true to say that it is easy to aquire an truly
anonymous e-mail address - it's possible, but it's not within the bounds
of average users understanding of internet use. Otherwise it's as good
as logging their IP address for an authority trying to work out who
posted after the fact.
I suppose the best thing to do if any site is requiring registration
with an e-mail confirmation is they include details about how to go
about registering a truly anonymous disposable one time use address,
using Tor and appropriate providers etc.
