this indeed would be very nice. There used to be a website which was
meant to become an IMC (Indymedia Center) at some point, namely
www.twimc.org. As you can see, this site has been shut off since,
however, the whois database entry remains.

There's also people running a website related to open publishing at
www.twblog.net. It may be a good idea to get in touch with both groups
to get something started.

If you'd like to start an IMC, please also get in touch with Indymedias
'New-IMC' working group through the form at http://newimc.indymedia.org
or through their (publically archived) mailing list at
new-imc at lists.indymedia.org

For spontaneous questions, you can also connect to the Indymedia IRC
network at irc.indymedia.org, channels #newimc, #indymedia or
#communication. If you don't have an IRC client you can use the web chat
instead:
