Hello from Victoria IMC. We received your constructive criticisms and
recommendations concerning our editorial policy and have decided to
follow your advice and write a new one with guards against spamming
and hate postings etc. We are currently  working with a group of media
activists in Vancouver where there is a media center for independent
coverage of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. Even thought there are
several groups working through this center (http://www.no2010.com and
http://olympicresistance.net), I still believe there is a place for an
IMC collective in this scene. Our site will cover a greater variety of
issues, not just olympic resistance news, and will operate beyond the
time-frame of the games. Our site has now been operational for a year
and we were wondering if there are any concerns or suggestions that
you would like to make to us in order for us to gain approval from the
global IMC collective, and receive the victoria.indymedia.org domain.
