introductory_statement:
In the past the New Jersey Indymedia has been a viable resource of information for people in the state of New Jersey, but in recent years the website had not been maintained effectively. I am a group of individuals from various organizations want to take on that responsibility so New Jersey will be better served by an outlet that will allow residents to reach out and inform others with a progressive message that we all need to build from.

We can provide some experience in web and print design and hopefully in the future server space

outreach:
Many of us work in anti-racist activism and have been successful in building within a number of communities throughout the state. We will play a huge part in contributing to NJ IMC.

Many of those within the collective are people of color, particularly the contact person Daryle Lamont Jenkins. We do intend to grow and reach out to other groups as we evolve as a collective.
