Yes, we have come across that problem too and it sounds like a reasonable enough proposal although I reckon it would be a little tricky to add. So far we have not bothered to do this probably because the trolls and spammers would love it, but the option itself could be made configurable so that it could be turned off it spammers were using it.

...so will it be done... I will certainly think about it. However do feel free to look over the code yourself and made the changes locally if you feel that you need it urgently.

Maybe, email me back (+the list) with some more thoughts on how you would envisage it to work, because I have been thinking whether we need to add in any other things related to this.

i'm with asheville indymedia (http://asheville.indymedia.org), and we
think it would be very useful if there were a way to add several event
posts at the same time by filling out one form- so, for example, you can
quickly add weekly meetings to the events calendar.

so if, for example, you wanted to post the same event 5 times in one
month, right now you need to copy and paste the same one and post it 5
separate times, and this is especially frustrating if you're not an
editor because you have to wait several minutes between each post. does
anyone know of a way to get around this problem? and if not, could i
suggest this as a feature for the next version?
