Mick, you seem to be the main person acting on behalf of your
collective, that is why I address you. I more than welcome other members
of your collective to participate on this list. I acknowlege the
contribution from noodle string.

indeed you can publish where you wish.

Firstly, I have not been involved in sydney.indy for years, only about 8
or so months.
Second, provide me with URLs to stories which you want hidden and I will
consider hiding them.

I have read the imc-darwin email list archives and seen posts on various
newswires. I cannot tell what is truth. There is conflicting stories.
Can you appreciate that people outside of Darwin, outside of what was
the Darwin collective, cannot see what actually happened? It's all text.
I cannot see who is lying and who is not. I see the only way forward is
to work to form a new collective, or collectives, and setup new websites
and domains. This requires you to go through the new-imc process. Mick,
is it such a big deal to fill out a form? I would have thought in your
struggle to help the One Mile Dam community, filling out forms and
dealing with beaurocracy was part of the deal? What is your goal? do you
want an indymedia.org subdomain? If you spent the time you have taken to
post stories to various newswires and email lists filling out the
new-imc form, you might have had your domain back long ago. Why not just
do it? Your tactics up until now have proven unsuccessful, can you not
see they are not working? Don't you think it is time for new tactics?

 > Demonstrable liars and thugs can not approach New imc

yes they can. Anyone can apply, thugs, fascists, anarchists, liberal
party hacks, Gary, Fiona, and you. The only thing that will stop them is
an an incomplete or inadequate application, or a block from an imc
collective. That is how things are.

Mick, READ what I have said. I am not going to 'quietly give the URL' to
anybody. I have no power to do such a thing. That is up to new-imc,
imc-process, and DNS. All I am doing is helping people understand what
they have to do to get a successful application through. Again, do you
want an indymedia.org subdomain? LISTEN to me. I am telling you what the
situation is. I will help you and your people get an indymedia if you
are willing to co-operate. I'm not saying it will be easy, or even just,
I am just here to point out what is.

> We don't have to do anything to be accepted by indymedia

Well I'm afraid this is not true Mick. Indymedia.org is an autonomous
entity in this world. It does what it pleases. You have to co-operate
with the indymedia powers-that-be if you want to be part of it. That is
the way things are. That is all I am saying. THAT IS THE WAY THINGS ARE.
It may not be right, it may not be just.

Stacy and others intervened because they are unhappy with you being a
part of indymedia. The forces that be were in their favour. JUST OR NOT.
That is something you will have to accept, and work with.

Mick, here is my advice. Stop attacking me, stop attacking sydney, stop
attacking oceania, stop posting to newswires about this issue and deal
with this issue on this list. Realise the problems you face if you want
to re-enter indymedia. Deal with those problems, use new tactics.

And finally Mick, realize I AM NOT ATTACKING YOU, i am trying to help
you, I am reporting the situation THAT IS, as I see it.
