[Seattletech] publish feature of Seattle Indymedia has been down for more than 12 hours

Hi folks,

It has not been possible to publish (either articles or comments)
on Seattle Indymedia for more than 12 hours.

The publish page does not come up.

I assume this will get fixed eventually.

This is not the first time I have run into this problem and I am
sure it will not be the last.

So I am wondering, from a quality-control perspective, how often
is the site checked?

Is there some sort of software feature that sends email when it
is broke or anything?

Or do we rely on readers sending email to notify the tech people?
