[Seattletech] publish server update and proposal

the Mir publish server, online for nearly four years now, has had a
series of failures, none of which by itself is fatal, but in toto, all
point to incipient terminal failure.


it has been proposed over time that Seattle migrate from Mir to another
CMS.  most recently, drupal was proposed.  some other imc's have started
to use drupal as a cms.

i have set up a drupal 5.2 installation, which can be accessed at
http://new.seattleimc.org/    for test/hack etc.

i would recommend a time line that brings about some change to the site
within a month, three months at the very most.

drupal users and assistance would help, if drupal is to be used.
