Subject: Indybay Website Orientation, Sunday, May 7th, 12pm

We have a behind-the-scenes website orientation coming up in Oakland. If
you have
ever thought about getting more involved with Indybay, in one way or
another, this
would be the time to get started. Maybe you'd like to learn more about
posting to
the site's newswire. Maybe you are especially interested in one of our
"Region" or
"Topic" pages and would like to help write for and edit the site. If so,
we welcome
you come to this orientation. We only have about two or three of these
orientations
a year, so now's your chance.

There are no requirements as far as the amount of time you have to offer or
technical prerequisites. It's actually not that hard to post to or edit
the site,
and we can teach you everything you need to know in a relatively short time.

This Sunday, we will talk about Indybay's 6-year history and explain what
the site
is all about, how it does it, and what kinds of help we need. If you would
like to
get involved with Indybay.org, at any level, come by and find out more!

When: Sunday, May 7th from Noon to 2pm

Where: AK Press warehouse, 674 23rd Street, Oakland, CA 94612
