[Sfbay-video] 16 mm film

I have a 16 mm fil, not the first cut, and would like
to add a few things.  I also would like it to be
transferred to dvd.  So my question is do I just
transfer it to dvd first, or video first and then
edit.  It is a film about abortion rights made in late
60's .  Is there anyone out there who might want to
