It took 20 years and countless doctors for filmmaker Laurel Chiten to be properly diagnosed with a form of dystonia, a neurological disorder that forces muscles to involuntarily contract and twist. TWISTED tells the stories of people who live with dystonia, a neurological disorder that forces your muscles to twist into abnormal, often painful, movements or postures.

SHADYA tells the story of a girl who strives to succeed on her own termswhile remaining committed to her life in her community. Seventeen-year-old Shadya Zoabi is a world champion in karate. But despite her fathers support, her brothers and other members of their small Arab village in northern Israel feel that karate is not an appropriate pursuit for a young Muslim woman.
Special guest speaker: Manar Azriek, 7 times National Judo champion of Israel and the seldefense trainer of the Israeli Parliament in 2000
