STREET LEVEL TV SEEKS SHORT VIDEO SUBMISSIONS FOR OUR
APRIL EPISODE!
If you are interested in submitting a piece to
StreetLevel TV for our next episode, please contact us
asap, as we need submissions by Monday April 3.
**Please read the guidelines below BEFORE submitting a
tape to us.
Guidelines and important deadlines:
Contact us NOW if you'd like to submit, and include
an INTRO and CREDITS in your email (see below for
details) BEFORE submitting
your tape.
LENGTH: make sure the piece is between 3-7 minutes
long
TAPE: give us 30 seconds of black at the head of the
tape and 30 seconds of black after your piece is done
make sure you give us a mini-dv tape
the piece must be completely edited and finished

CREDITS AND INTRO:
DO NOT INCLUDE CREDITS WITHIN YOUR PIECE:
email us credits and we will include them in our
credit roll, and email an intro for the host to read
leading up to your piece i.e. this next piece
highlights this
issue
BROADCAST READY: make sure the video is title safe and
broadcast safe, and the audio is not clipping
PERMISSION: Please make sure you have permission to
use all footage and music, as our show airs
nationally.
RELEASE FORM: Please make sure you sign our release
form when you give us your tape. It is available for
download on our website at www.streetleveltv.org.
***Please note that SLTV reserves the right to run the
episode that includes your piece at any SLTV
screenings and airings. SLTV is not for profit, and is
a volunteer run collective. We may sell DVD copies of
our episodes at screenings at cost for interested
members of the public.
Please note, tape submission does not guarantee the
piece will air on the show, and your tape may not be
returned to you.

comedic political pieces
political event coverage and commentary
Culture Jam pieces
SLTV airs quarterly on Access SF, Berkeley Community
Media, Free Speech TV and screens at ATA in San
