Hello-
My name is Jillian Tuck and I am a Program Assistant for Asylum Access, a
small non-profit organization that provides legal aid for refugees in
Africa, Asia and Latin America. I am writing to see if members of the Bay
Area Video Collective might be able to provide free/lost-cost video
equipment and/or editorial services to our organization.
The recording will be used to train volunteer legal advocates who are
traveling to our new legal aid projects in Thailand and Ecuador in the fall
and we hope to eventually disseminate the recording to the wider refugee
legal aid community in Europe, the United States, and throughout the Global
South. We would of course credit BAVC for the recording and list you on our
website as a major sponsor. It would be an excellent opportunity to
advertise within the legal community in the United States as well as
globally and to support a truly worthy cause. To learn more about our
organization, please visit our website: www.asylumaccess.org.
If you are not able to help us out with the training video, do you know of
anyone else that I might be in contact with? Any information or suggestions
that you have would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from
you!
Best,
Jillian Tuck
