[Translation] e-mails on the TT

Hi everyone,
I read carefully the proposal to redesign the TT, will write something
longer later on if you think it can be useful (but not on the wiki, I cannot
get in working terms with that). However there's one thing not mentioned
there: e-mails addresses from ppl posting or translating are not made
available.

Now, I'm using the TT a lot, both as a translator and as an editor of a
multilingual site (biotech-imc). In both cases many a time I've badly needed
to contact the other people involved, i.e. the translators of the things I
post and the authors of the things I translate - the exchange between
authors and translators is very important in this kind of work, but it is
not possible here.

So I wanted to ask, what's the point of asking a person's e-mail if nobody
will have access to it? Couldn't we have the option of making it known (as
we have the option of being noticed of each comment posted), explaining to
ppl how important this could prove for the rest of us?

That's all for now
Cheers
d
