i suppose it is not absolutely necessary. however, to the extent that
folks in seattle may be called upon to fix problems which cannot be
fixed remotely, i think it would be very desirable. vservers will give
you minimal downtime should anything go wrong with the hardware, and
make it very easy should you need more disk space.

in general, it is my opinion that all services should be run in
vservers... as a security measure if for no other reason.

we have a vserver kernel built for the lp1000rs, which we are running on
the other 7 lp1000rs, if you want to use that.
