[Utahgadfly] Extreme bovine behavior; not at all your ordinary cattle

The incidents and comments reported in these emails I either know to be
true first-hand, or have deduced them from the comments and actions of
others involved.  I fully intend to be testifying to their truth under
oath in the not too distant future.  Outlandish they may be, fiction
they are not.

As to the extreme bovine behavior?  Under intense duress, starvation for
example, cattle will climb trees. Oregonian columnist Elinor Markgraf
did just that to 3 calves over 1992 - 1995 at her home at 18212 NW 6th
Portland 97231.

Admittedly, they weren't full size cows, only some 200 lbs instead of
the 600 lbs you would expect in  normal 3 year old beef crosses. Even
so, my jaw dropped to see one perched ungainly in an apple tree,
straining to reach even the merest sliver of any twiglet that had grown
out to be nibbled on again since the day before.  The craving mouth,
stretching forward infinitesimally more for that hint of green, the
scrawny neck extended from the famished body teetering on uncertain
hooves so far removed from their natural environment.  Would she move
that millimeter more forward that would topple her from her perch, or
would she deny her desperate hunger and wait another day?

In contrast, her equally gaunt and stunted half-sister confronts the
main stem of a once substantial blackberry cane, as thick as a man's
arm, now leafless and branchless.  Extending her lower jaw, she scrapes
her teeth along the length of the cane, peeling off the green bark to
eat along with the enormous thorns that armored the stalk.

Meanwhile Elinor Markgraf makes a big show of feeding the third and last
of these mutely eloquent testaments to her extraordinary skill; that it
is possible to systematically starve calves so severely that they remain
alive but never grow to more then 1/3 of their natural size.  She denies
my accusation; no they aren't stunted by starvation, its unbelievable
the amount they eat.  Their problem is that they are dwarfs (she says),
brought about by an incestuous encounter their mother had with one of
her sons (that subject must have been on her mind even then). 
Apparently poor Bossy (the mother) was so overcome by her moral
depravity that, thereafter, she produced nothing but tree-climbing
dwarfs.  Oh, for sure!

Elinor Markgraf claimed to be trapped by these cattle, that she could
not afford to have them butchered and so was compelled to keep them, and
thus could never accumulate the funds to have them butchered.  I said to
put a notice in Plainview Grocery (community bulletin board) saying
"Free to good home ...", and they would be gone in a day.  As if she
hadn't known that already.

Then I left to report what I'd seen inside the house to CSD (so much
worse than what I've just told you about outside the house).  But I'll
report on that, and my experience with CSD (Children's Services
Division, as they called themselves then), and what came after, in my
next email.

Because before we go on, I need to state exactly what I mean to
accomplish with these emails.  For the sake of clarity, most of the
remainder of this is phrased as if it were written directly to Elinor
Markgraf.

You want me locked up, and complain that I avoid this by concealing my
supposed villainy from everyone else.  I've decided to grant your
desire, and give you means to put me in jail.  What I'm doing to you
with these emails, public humiliation, constitutes harrassment according
to Oregon Revised Statutes 166.065 (1)(a)(B) for which I am criminally
liable as defined in ORS 166.065 (2); you can view the relevant text

I'm sending copies of these emails to both Portland Police and Multnomah
County Sherrif depts., and to various media around town.  I enquired of
the Eugene police who said they do not prosecute harrassment unless a
complaint is filed, so you do need to file a complaint.  I realize this
is only a class B misdemeanor, no great shakes as far as criminal
activity goes, but I just don't seem to have much inclination for crime,
something I personally feel has more to do with my enduring liberty than
concealing my supposed villainy.

A simple trade; I'm willing to go to jail to coerce you into publicly
testifying about your domestic habits since 1988.  You know the
questions I mean, the ones you are so afraid of you do not even
acknowledge them when they are asked; the questions the children are
forbidden to discuss, for they cut off communication with me when I
asked about them.  The questions you have successfully stone-walled
these last 5 years since I first began asking them.  

I'll go to jail, and gladly, if the whole city can see how you deal with
those questions.

While I personally regard Elinor Markgraf as not responsible for the
horrors she has perpetrated, my reasons  are not generally accepted (see
