The 3 things: i'll take the quickest first.
3. I haven't gotten a response about the bogus, and i really would like
to see it; i'm a little worried. I don't have Peter's email address;
does anyone on this list have it, or: Peter, if you're reading this,
please send it again, with this is in the subject line:
SAMPLE BOGUS SIGNUP FROM PETER
Ok? Thanks.

1. and 2. Ana, sorry to be so slow getting the translations implemented;
thanks for setting up the wiki and for getting the first two done. I've
been pondering between 2 options for getting them implemented:
	1. -- the quickest but temporary means for getting those 2 languages
integrated into the program, ie, doing a customization just for those 2
languages, or
	2. -- a very slow but permanent rewrite of the whole program, so that
once i've got it working for one language, it will be quick and trivial
to add any additional languages for which we have a translation.

I'm leaning toward doing the quickest one (#1) first, to get something
up there while i work on a more permanent solution, but the _very_
quickest temp. solution would be to just replace the English version
with the spanish version, since there are alot more navtive spanish
speakers on the planet than English speakers -- aren't there?

For non-native spanish speakers, i could add a link on the spanish page
to Google's auto-translate service, so that they will have a kind of
kludgy translation, but at least they'll have a translation.

That, at least, will get rid of the English-fascism of the site until i
can get the permanent solution done, which will probably take me till
march or june, because of school priorities. (Maybe i can find someone
who could get it done more quickly).

If you, and whomever else cares to respond, would support the option for
  'spanish as the single language with link to google-translate', I
could get that done over a weekend, and see how that flies while i work
on the long term solution.

I dont know how many people are reading this mailing list; you'all out
there, please say what you think.

thanks,
Catherine
