I send sometime ago an email in wchich I did write:
"got some problems the last days and want to work on that.
alos, i don't tink i can still be in a network that says it's independent
but has some party politic collective(s) that abuse this."
The problems are more or less solved, had an car accident with two other
cars and drunk a little to much.
is gonna cost me some money but the good thing about it, is has switched
something in my head, like if I don't change my
lifestyle now, I won't end up very good. Some person siad in the past year
i had to change lifestyle but I'm that kind of person that
needs something happens before I listen. Before the accident, I had plans
to travel next year and make of reports of actions in
different contries in Europe, this will have to last for a year, first
have to wait for a proces for that accident.
Second point is that(like you think I know) i have really difficulties
with the Belgian "indypendent" media center. i was in that collective
for sometimes but finally left because i felt(like much others) much
diversity or the non-hierachical is not wanted in that
collective. People from "indymedia.be" come always with how much features
they have by month and how differse they are but if the features
are most of the time the same as on the site from the stalinist/maoist
party here in Belgium and here and there a feature
about something else is published(like an article about linux or two
articles on firefox) i don't find this very differse, only trying
to show that you're differse. Most of the features are also made about
articles that han Soete en christophe callewaert wrote, almost
nothing made from other articles from other persons.
Abut ten articles in Dutch were published on the te links between people
from Indymedia.be and the stalinis/maoist party, in
which it's clear there are links.
last week, I posted a comment on imc.be, did take a screenshot of it and
saw afterwards that comment was changed.
This does happen for a long time now, articles and comments get blanked,
changed name of author, all things you would not
expect with an independent media center.
Like you can see, I proposed and published two features on the global
site, one about trainstoppers convicted, an other one about extreme right
Belgium/flanders. In these proposals I used links to articles and features
on the belgium "indymedia" center and from on the local sites. And I
found this really difficult, like wanting to inform people but have to use
sources of which you're not really keen to use them.
And from know on, I will not use links from on imc.be anymore because it
feels like prostituting against my will.
There is the syndicationsite now: http://besyn.buffaloimc.org/fr/ hope
it will be online soon.
What also had me busy for a while was the fact a fascist put a picture of
me on is site with the text:
"wanted, pannekoek guido for crimes against intelligence", after making
some complaints to the company that gives webspace
to this person, the picture was taken offline.
Last week, this picture was published on indymedia-oost-vlaanderen with
also another text: a death stalinist is better than a crazy stalinist.
yesterday did read that somebody of the ditoteam of indymedia-ovl did
write about this pic "that it was not a bad caricature".
Don't think i will ever publish on that site again, you alwas learn that
you don't have much friends but only a lot of parasites.
Before the fbi seizing, there were discussion about imc.be but they than
This is the belgium "indymedia" site that had no links to the locales
imc's here but tried to let people think they cared so much about
the network, articles with the links to the local sites were put on
hidden, translations of presstexts done by people from local sites
were put on hidden or the name changed...
hopefully the discussion can be back started.
i saw this:
dead IMCs / CMIs muertas
Maybe once look at the feature of imc?
