Hi,

I think it's time we announce that we have a second list to put up the
features, to thank all the translators and to also tell people how to
get links into translastions.

If this is okay, we should have it translated before it's posted :-)

TITLE: Multilingual Indymedia

HEADER: INDYMEDIA

The global Indymedia site is making another step towards
multilinguality. We are proud to announce a second working group to put
up features on this site: www-editoriales(a)indymedia.org.
www-features and www-editoriales are working in the same way: we try to
find interesting features and topics on local Indymedia sites, (re)write
them where necessary for a global readership, and post them as well as
features that are proposed by others. While www-features does so in
English, www-editoriales uses Spanish and Portuguese as working
language. These lists differ in language not the location of the issue
covered: Feel free to use the languages you feel comfortable with
wherever you are. <p>
So, if you want to propose a feature you can do so in English, Spanish
or Protuguese: Just send it to one of these lists. If you want to
propose a feature in another language you can also do so: send it to
www-features and we will try our best to deal with it, depending on our
capacities.<p>

Thanks to all the translators who are doing such a great job in
translating the features as soon as they appear here. When we set up the
oprotunity to add translations our aim was to get at least everything in
English and Spanish to reach the biggest part of the Indymedia network
and it looks like it works out. <p>

Just one small note and some skill-sharing: If you translate a feature
please include the html-tags for the links because otherwise the readers
of your translation miss out. Just copy the <a href="http://....">
before the linked words and the </a> after the word into your
translation, and everything will be fine.
