<p>On Friday 17 and Saturday 18 September in <a
href="http://www.noordwijk.nl/">Noordwijk(NL)</a> a summit where all
European Defence Ministers will gatter and with them also lot's of
lobbyists. Under the name "enforcement of military capibilaties" they will
<a href="http://www.indymedia.nl/nl/2004/09/21360.shtml">talk(NL)</a>,
among other things, about the European Army that according to de European
Constitution has to intervene everywhere in the world, on more places at
the same time and intervene "preventive" concerning
"crisis-situations".</p>

<p>Anti-militarists and peace-activists started early with the
organization of a big counteroperation, called <a
href="http://www.defensietop.tk/">Operation Omega</a>. Thuesday the
protests started when the <a
href="http://www.indymedia.nl/nl/2004/09/21431.shtml">first</a>, and later
more <a href="http://indymedia.nl/nl/2004/09/21445.shtml">arms</a>
arrived. Friday there was a demonstration in Noordwijk and several "battle
groups" did some actions.</p>

<p>Within the framework of the Dutch presidency there are some <a
href="http://www.indymedia.nl/nl/2004/05/19169.shtml">summits(NL)</a>. In
November there will be an E.U.-summit about migration. Under the name <a
href="http://www.n10.nl/">N10</a> are several organizations already busy
with organizing protests.</p>
