FCC uses U.S. Marshals to Raid Freak Radio Santa Cruz


Armed federal marshalls and FCC agents served a warrant Wednesday morning at 9:20 AM at the studio of Free Radio Santa Cruz. 
People were driven out of the building at gunpoint but no arrests were made. Equipment was confiscated shutting down 
the broadcast.

One SCIMC journalist tried to get photos and was ruffed up by Marshals, according to DJ <a href="http://radio.indymedia.org/news/2004/09/2572.php">Skidmark Bob.</a>

Freak Radio's collective will keep a <a href="http://freakradio.org/listen.html">webstream</a> 
running for now according to this morning's <a href="http://www.democracynow.org">DemocracyNow!</a>
