Hello Amy and friends at the features work group,
When it comes to countries and peoples under an armed dictatorship or a
military occupation government, the usual and common perceptions of
radicals from the US and western Europe about what constitutes
"legitimate" struggle outside of the electoral trap, do not hold any
validity. We can not judge the Solidarity Party of Afghanistan by those
criteria, nor can we judge the political situation in occupied
Afghanistan by the criteria that apply in Washington DC.
The Solidarity Party of Afghanistan is not a "party" in the sense that
the RepubloCrats are a party. Nor does it say anywhere in its literature
anything that aims to distract people from the real struggle (material,
physical, objective and direct struggle that includes a peoples war of
liberation), to mislead them into wasting their time with electoral
illusions. On the contrary, the party calls for a general insurrection:

Please study some of their articles and statements. On the face of it,
they have some very good positions.

I don't have any way of judging how the Afghani people view this party,
and whether or not they actually genuinely do what they say. But in the
context of military occupation, and an armed war of resistance, the
appellation "party" of this organization should be perceived as
"political organization". And under that interpretation, I would feel
fine with us re-publishing their material.
Thanks!
Petros
