btw, I don't know if you refer to this.
The www.indymedia parser, visits all feeds once every (some) time and 
gets every
article that has not been published previously. So, when a new feed is 
added, it
suddenly sees dozens of new articles which are added immediately. I think that
future feature will not have any problem
