afaik, the rsync from publish server to the mirrors only does "positive"
changes (sorry, don't remember the correct terminology), i.e. does not
remove articles. so this will need to be done manually, probably by
someone who has access to both servers.

nb, it might be possible with just access to publish, but i don't recall
how to do this.
